HORIZONFIRM, founded in 2018, is a service company for the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects, handling the planning, design, permitting, and management of large photovoltaic plants for large-scale energy production.

Utility-scale plants are typically large installations, ranging from tens to hundreds of megawatts, designed to supply energy to national or regional power grids.

With 15 years of experience in the sector, HORIZONFIRM is active in applied research and in training young engineers and PhD students, which it carries out in collaboration with the Department of Engineering of the Polytechnic School at the University of Palermo and with the leading industrial players in the sector at an international level.

In the search for suitable land for the installation of photovoltaic plants, it collaborated with Confagricoltura Sicilia, through which it came into contact with the diverse reality of Sicilian agricultural entrepreneurs. HORIZONFIRM is aware of the strong bond between the agricultural entrepreneur and their land, and of the efforts they make to constantly improve their business.
